ABOUT US

The group Elders of Creation is four members of the original U.S.- based Uprising Reggae Band from the 1980s. They traveled extensively up and down the East Coast playing reggae during its Roots and Dancehall style heyday.  Thirty years later, they renewed their musical energy by forming a new gospel reggae group, Elders of Creation.  Original lead singer, Kirt "Danny" Lewis aka Danny Dread, from Trinidad and Tobago, was inspired by God with the lyrics to several songs over two days, and the seed was planted.  God led Dexter Keane from Trinidad and Tobago to arrange the music to "Jesus is Lord," the first track of the upcoming untitled album (TBA).  Lenny Inniss from Bridgetown, Barbados, plays rhythm guitar and vocals. Harold Cox from Trinidad and Tobago plays lead guitar and vocals.    Special guests include bass player Wendy (Gibby) Clarke from Trinidad and Tobago, horn solos by Phil Papotnik from Pennsylvania, USA, background vocalist Cherry Andrews from Trinidad and Tobago, and background vocalist Melinda Hamilton, USA.  Recorded and mixed by Mike Hamilton at Mission Road Studio, USA.  Mastered by Greg Lukens at Studio L in Alexandria, Virginia, USA.

Plans are being made for the production of the remaining songs that God gave Danny to write.  Danny is delivering the Gospel message through music that lifts and celebrates the Lordship of Jesus Christ!  We hope you enjoy praising our Lord and Savior!
